Having worked as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Videowall Programmer, Project Manager and currently as the Senior Project Manager, Phil has been with MVI for 20 years.
Most significantly during this time, Phil has managed the technical production for General Motors for the Canadian Auto Show circuit. This project encompasses multiple displays over multiple cities and has progressed from CRT based video wall displays to edge blended projection systems, through to today’s sophisticated networked LED video screen systems.
Phil fondly describes his experience with the Calgary Stampede: “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”; 6 screens comprising 215 LED panels all ready to go from a storage position to show ready in 15 minutes; every night for 10 nights, rain or shine.
Working under such demanding conditions seems to only strengthen Phil’s dedication to the show and enthusiasm for the job.
